Mother of all Bombs:US military’s largest non- nuclear bomb on ISIS target

The US military’s largest non- nuclear bomb killed at least 36 militants as it decimated a deep tunnel complex of the Islamic State group, Afghan officials said on Friday, ruling out any civilian casualties.

The Massive Ordnance Air Blast Bomb, known as “the mother of all bombs”, is the largest non-nuclear bomb ever used by the US in a conflict. It was developed during the Iraq war in 2003. The Pentagon said it was dropped from a US aircraft in Nangarhar province. US President Donald Trump called it “another successful job”.
