Pakistan a Benedict Arnold ally, supports terrorism: Ted Poe

Toe Poe, a Republic Congressman called Pakistan is a “Benedict Arnold” ally  which ‘betrayed’ the US with its support for known terrorist groups,

Poe who is in charge for legislation that would require the US government to assess Pakistani support for known terrorists before Washington hands Islamabad military funding.

Poe’s remaks to Pakistan were made after the US House of Representatives – The  of the country’s Congress – passed bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act.This acts includes Poe’s amendment on Pakistan.

The republic lawmaker said that the US already has placed certain restrictions on the funding that Islamabad takes from Washington.

He said that the path of the National Defense Authorization Act is a step that will “end Pakistan’s betrayal of the US with the addition of an additional certification requirement.”
