US navy Secretary hails India for resolving maritime disputes peacefully
US Secretary of the army Richard V. Spencer has hailed India for peacefully resolving maritime border disputes and said the connection between countries is based on shared values and choice to maintain peace and balance in the Indo-Pacific location and across the seas.
“U.S. Secretary of the military arrived right here on Friday and held meetings with with foreign Secretary Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and leader of Naval team of workers Admiral Sunil Lanba to speak about the growing cooperation among our navies and our shared commitment to the guideline of regulation, freedom of navigation, and free and honest change,” stated america embassy in India in a press release.
“The relationship between america and India is primarily based on our shared values and desire to maintain peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific vicinity and across the seas,” said america Secretary of the army.
“India is a model for peacefully resolving maritime border disputes and a sturdy company of protection. We appearance ahead over again to joining the Indian army and Japan Maritime Self defense force within the Malabar workout to be hosted in the Pacific next year,” he delivered.
That is Spencer’s first go to to India as Secretary of the U.S. military and he will be departing on Saturday.
