Rocket lands inside Indian Embassy in Afghanistan’s Kabul; ‘all secure’, says MEA

A rocket landed within the premises of the Indian Embassy in Kabul a while ago inflicting minor damage to a structure on the rear aspect of the constructing’s compound on Monday.

The rocket, fired from an undisclosed place, landed within the 14th street of Wazir Akbar Khan close to Canadian Embassy in Kabul’s PD10, stated earlier reviews.

”Our charge d’ Affaires has knowledgeable that all Embassy employees are safe,” the Ministry of external Affairs (MEA) said in a declaration.

MEA Minister Sushma Swaraj additionally confirmed the incident and stated all Indian employees have been absolutely safe.
“A rocket has landed in our Chancery compound in Kabul,” Sushma Swaraj instructed newshounds this nighttime.
“The rocket clipped the top of the 3-storeyed ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police) barracks,” she said.
“There aren’t any casualties. All Indians and team of workers are secure.”
