Nepal to preserve presidential elections next month
The Election commission (EC) of Nepal on Thursday introduced that the elections for the new president will be held on March thirteen.
The EC on Thursday made the selection over the dates for the election after approximately per week of debate with the political parties.
“The meeting of the EC officers starting up on Thursday below the chairmanship of leader Election Commissioner, Dr. Ayodhi Prasad Yadav determined to maintain the election of the president on thirteenth of March workout the rights given to the commission which are said within the invoice concerning the elections of President and vice president- 4 (2),” Nepal EC’s spokesperson Nabaraj Dhakal stated in a statement.
The Nepal EC which now bears the authority for the statement of the dates for the election of the country heads has set March 7 because the day for submitting the nominations.
The vote casting for the brand new country head or the primary President of federal Nepal is scheduled to start from 10 a.m. and will go on until 4 p.m., and will witness balloting from the representatives of federal parliament and the provincial councils.
