MoS VK Singh to go to Iraq on Sunday
Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh will be visiting Iraq on April 1 to bring back the mortal remains of the 39 Indian killed in Mosul. A Special Indian Air Force plane will bring the mortal remains back to India.
The missing Indians, most of whom hailed from Punjab, were killed by Islamic State terrorists in Mosul after they had reportedly gone missing in 2014.
Earlier, while addressing in the Parliament, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj had confirmed the death of the 39 Indians in Mosul.
