PM Modi, Nepals’ PM Oli hold bilateral & delegation level talks
Fruitful talks took place in Kathmandu between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Nepalese counterpart K P Sharma Oli. Both leaders held bilateral and delegation level talks.
Both leaders held talks on Buddhist and Ramayana circuit. Making a press statement, Prime Minister Modi said that a large number of pilgrims come to Nepal from India and so tourism is an important area.
Prime Minister said that both nations are committed to stop the misuse of open border between India and Nepal. He said that both leaders have agreed to strengthen cooperation in strategic and defence cooperation.
Prime Minister said that connectivity is an important factor for the development of both countries. He said that road, rail, power transmission lines are giving impetus to connectivity.
