Terrorists fire upon CRPF party in Anantnag, 2 jawans martyred
Terrorists today fired upon CRPF party in Anantnag’s Sheer Pora in Achabal area in J&K.
Troops of 96 Bn of CRPF along with J&K Police were on Law & Order duty during which the terrorists opened fire injuring three CRPF jawans and one civilian.
Two CRPF personnel later succumbed to their injuries, while one injured jawan is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Forces have cordoned off the area with further details awaited.
Meanwhile, speaking on attacks by terrorists, Jammu and Kashmir DGP SP Vaid said safety and security of people is security forces’ top priority.
