India visit very fruitful : Former Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal
Former Prime Minister of Nepal and Co-Chairman of ruling Nepal Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has said that his India visit was very fruitful.
Talking to media persons at Tribhuvan International airport in Kathmandu after returning from New Delhi, Dahal said that wide and positive discussions were held with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on various dimensions of Indo-Nepal relations. He said that it has sent a very positive message.
Dahal also said that discussions on all important issues including hydro power, tourism, joint ventures in mega projects and connecting various religious and natural places of the two countries were held with the Indian leaders.
During 4 day India visit, besides Prime Minister Modi, Dahal also met Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, business leaders and intellectual community. He also delivered a lecture at the Indian Council of World Affairs in New Delhi on “Recent Developments in Nepal and Advancing India-Nepal Partnership for Shared Prosperity”.
