India urges ICJ to annul decision of Pakistani military court
India on Wednesday questioned the functioning of Pakistan’s military courts and urged the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to annul Kulbhushan Jadhav’s death sentence, which is based on an extracted confession.
Putting India’s stand at the ICJ at Hague, in the Netherlands, India’s counsel, Harish Salve said, Pakistan’s three attempts to derail proceedings in the ICJ have failed.
Salve also strongly objected to the abusive language used by Pakistan’s counsel in the case and urged the court to draw a redline in this regard.
India pleaded that Pakistani military court’s ruling be annulled and Jadav be freed.
