Bangladesh PM leaves for Kolkata to watch India-Bangladesh Cricket Test match
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left for Kolkata today on a daylong visit to watch the second cricket Test of the two-match series between India and Bangladesh.
Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamta Banerjee will join Sheikh Hasina to ring the ceremonial bell at the Eden Gardens around noon time. News agency ANI reported that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also attend the day-night Test along with Sheikh Hasina and Mamata Banerjee.
Prime Minister Hasina will return back to Dhaka in the night.
The two countries will play their maiden day-night Test match in which the pink ball will be used for the first time of any Test cricket match.
