Young Bangladeshi boy wins special prize at ICCR Global Art Competition
Anzar Mustaeen Ali, a six-year-old Bangladeshi boy, won a special $ 1000 prize for his artwork at a global art competition organized by the Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR).
ICCR has launched a global painting competition titled ‘United Against Corona – Express Through Art’, which has attracted entries of over 8000 works of art worldwide.
210 artifacts were shortlisted after the first round of competition.
The final jury will evaluate and determine winners from each category in four different categories: Indian and Foreign, Professional / Amateur / Children: Contemporary Art; Folk and tribal art; Cartoons and Illustrations and Digital and New Age Art.
The maximum number of entries for the global competition came from Bangladesh, the Indian High Commission in Kochi said in a press release issued on Tuesday.
Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Vikram Doraiswamy presented the $ 1000 prize money to Master Anzar Mustaeen Ali,at an event at the Chancery in Kaka on Tuesday.
Master Anzar Mustaeen Ali, was greeted in the presence of his family and High Commission officials.
