Joe Biden cleared the 270-vote mark as voters confirmed his victory

California’s 55 election votes topped Biden, clearing the 270 – vote mark that confirmed he would be the nation’s next president.

There is high security in some states as voters gather on the day according to federal law. Voters cast ballots with masks, social distance and other viral precautions at rallies across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The results will be sent to Washington and will be chaired by Vice President Mike Pence at the US Congress on January 6.

Not a bit of suspense and surprise as all the election votes allotted to Biden and Trump in last month’s popular vote went to every man.

In Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin – the six battlefield states where Biden won and where Trump competed – voters cast their ballots for Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on Monday in less crucial action. Voters in Nevada met by zoom due to the coronavirus pandemic.

With all the votes, Biden Trump is projected to get 306 election votes to 232. Hawaii is the only state that has not yet voted. Biden topped Trump by more than 7 million votes nationwide.

“In this war for the American soul, democracy is prevalent,” Biden said in an evening speech. “It simply came to our notice then. Confidence has been built in our institutions. The integrity of our electorate remains intact. So, now is the time to turn the page. To unite. To cure. “Biden renewed his campaign promise to be president for all Americans, saying that whether they vote for him or not, the country will work hard on the virus and the economy.

Former Maryland state senator Gloria Lala said in a state where Biden won easily, votes for the Democratic ticket were “rejection of hatred, rejection of partition.” Not everyone is ready to say that the election is over, even with the turnout. Trump has refused to accept and continues to make unsubstantiated allegations of fraud.

There have been concerns about voter safety that have been virtually unheard of in previous years. In Michigan, lawmakers from both parties reportedly received threats and legislative offices were closed over threats of violence. Biden won by a margin of 154,000 votes, or 2.8 percentage points, over Trump.

Georgia state police were on duty at the State Capitol in Atlanta before Democratic voters pledged allegiance to the Biden meeting. None of the protesters were seen.
