SCO Secretary General Vladimir Norov said India has the potential to become one of the largest digital ecosystems in the world.
He made the remarks at a recent press conference in Beijing on the results of the recently concluded Council of Heads of Government. He noted India’s proposal to set up a dedicated working group on start-ups and innovations and a team working on traditional medicines. With 1 billion mobile phone subscribers and over 600 million internet users, India has the potential to become one of the largest digital ecosystems in the world, he said.
SCO Secretary General Vladimir Norov lauded the hosting of the 19th meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of India on November 30 and noted that India intends to take cooperation in SCO to new heights by playing an active, positive and constructive role.
