The divided UK exits EU orbit
The United Kingdom exited the European Union on Thursday, reversing a 48-year relationship with a European project for an uncertain Brexit future that will shape the fortunes of its people for generations to come.
Brexit, in essence, will take place at midnight on Brussels, or 2300 London time (GMT), after the United Kingdom officially left the alliance on 31 January, leaving the de-Facto membership.
For five years, the frantic European affairs of the Brexit crisis have dominated, haunted sterling markets and damaged the United Kingdom’s reputation as a loyal pillar of Western economic and political stability.
Brexit, which was broadcast by supporters in the early hours of the newly independent “Global Britain”, has weakened the bonds that bind England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland into a $ 3 trillion economy.
