Jihadi attack on Pakistan Air Force facility near Mianwali
Islamabad, 4 November : On Saturday morning, many heavily armed militants stormed Pakistan’s Mianwali Air Force Base in Punjab Province.
The Jihadis, many of whom were suicide bombers, ripped open the barbed wire fencing and vaulted the walls to attack the air base. Social media users shared videos of the raid and firing at the air base. The air base was rocked by explosions and intense fire.
According to sources, the incident was carried out by Tahrik-e-Jihad Pakistan (TJP). Mulla Mohammad Kasim, a TJP spokesperson, issued a warning about the attack. The entire air base has been blocked off by the military.
