PM Modi: I have trust of 130 crore Indians
Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveils development projects worth 32,500 crore rupees in Ghaziabad; takes a dig at those who question the air strikes in Pakistan; PM says 130 crore Indians who trust him are his proof.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System, along with inaugurating various developmental projects on Friday.
PM also inaugurated the Hindon Airport Civil Terminal and Dilshad Garden – Shaheed Sthal Section of Metro. The Prime minister himself took a ride on this metro.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid foundation stone of as many as 15 development projects in Kanpur including some under ‘Namami Gange’.
Addressing a public rally on the occasion, Prime Minister said the opposition parties are raising questions about the valour of Army and helping the isolated Pakistan through their statements.
Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for Agra Metro Rail Project by pressing button in Kanpur. PM also inaugurated Lucknow Metro Rail Project and flagged off Metro at North-South Corridor through video link. This metro will run 23-km long track from Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport to Munshipulia. PM also distributed keys of houses to beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Prime Minister also unveiled the expansion of Panki Power Project worth Rs. 6000 crore. PM said Kanpur has been facing shortage of electricity despite being an industrial city, which shows neglect by earlier governments.
Paying his respect to all women on International Women’s Day on 8th March, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the National Women Livelihood Meet-2019, held at Deendayal Hastkala Sankul in Varanasi. During the event, Prime Minister distributed Electric Chaak, Solar Charkha and Honey Warp to women beneficiaries and appreciation letters to five women Self Help Groups.
Various women Self Help Groups supported by Deendayal Anthodia Yojana handedover a cheque of Rs.21 lakh to the Prime Minister,as their contribution towards ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ Fund.
Appreciating the exceptional work done by Self Help Groups in the country, Prime Minister said that women have an important role in creating New India and Varanasi is a shining example of women empowerment.
During his visit, Prime Minister met members of Women Self Help Groups, who shared their experiences with him. Prime Minister also visited the exhibition on products manufactured by Self Help Groups.
Prime Minister, said that government is completely committed towards the empowerment of women. Women who participated in the event also expressed their gratitude towards Prime Minister, who has given priority to women in all Government schemes.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Kashi Vishwanath temple approach Road, beautification & strengthening Project in Varanasi. Once complete, the entry and exit points and the surroundings of Kashi Vishwanath temple will drastically change for the better forever. During his visit, Prime Minister also offered prayers at Kashi Vishwanath temple.
