Second day of G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to hold a series of bilateral talks on the sidelines of the Osaka summit on Saturday. Leaders’ side event on women empowerment is also scheduled.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a series of bilateral and pull-asides with a host of world leaders on the sidelines of the summit on Saturday. The prime minister is scheduled to hold Meetings with the Presidents of Brazil, Turkey and France and Prime Minister of Australia.

He will also meet Presidents of Italy and Chile and Prime Minister of Singapore during the day. Prime Minister Modi will also participate in the leaders’ side event on women empowerment.

In line with Summit’s central theme of “Human-Centred Future Society”, the topics under discussion during the third session on Saturday will be sustainable development, inclusiveness, and inequality.

The fourth and final session of the summit will also be held, where the topics under discussion will be Climate Change, Environment, and Energy.
