Covid-19:India hands over 2000 vials of Remdecivir to Nepal
India has been helping Nepal in the fight against COVID from the beginning. On Tuesday, India handed over 2000 vials of Remdecivir to Nepal.
Remedicavir medicine is considered a broad-spectrum anti-viral ation to treat moderately severe patients with oxygen therapy. According to medical research, the drug has significantly proven to reduce the length of hospital stay and reduce patient recovery time.
Indian Ambassador to Kathmandu Quatra handed over the drugs to Nepal’s Foreign Affairs Minister Pradeep Kumar Gayawali.
India has previously assisted Nepal in the form of ICU ventilators, COVID-19 test kits and essential medications including paracetamol and hydroxychloroquine.
