Embassy of India in Nepal marks the 56th anniversary of Indian Technical
Webinar has brought in voices from distinguished ITEC alumni from Nepal as well as experts from the Government and industry in India and Nepal to share their views and perspectives on tackling the covid-19 pandemic challenge.
Among the panelists on the Plenary Session were Indian Ambassador Shri Vinay Mohan Quatra, Secretary to the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Government of Nepal, Dinesh Kumar Ghimire, Dr. Bhagwan Koirala, Chairman, Medical Council of Nepal and Mr. Padmaprasad Pandey, Deputy Attorney General, Government of Nepal.Dr. Alka Sharma, Consultant, Department of Biotechnology, India and Mrs. Suchitra Ella, Joint MD & Co-Founder, Bharat Biotech International Limited, Hyderabad.
Ambassador Vinay Kwatra lauded the ongoing bilateral cooperation to support Nepal in enhancing domestic capabilities, including the ITEC initiative. Since last year, several ITEC capsules have been conducted at major institutions in India for officers of various institutions in Nepal in the fields of legal services to the Supreme Court of Nepal, Public Finance Management to the Ministry of Finance, training to Revenue Officers, Money Laundering and Counter.
