No grave ransomware effect on India: Government
Government has said there has been no serious impact on India from the global ransomware cyberattack, except for a few isolated incidents.
Information and Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said the systems run by the National Informatics Centre were secured and running smoothly.
Meanwhile, Indian Computer Emergency Response Team has issued list of dos and don’ts on how to protect networks from the global ransomware attack.
RBI has also asked banks to put in place software updates at ATMs to protect their systems from attack.
