BSF, Punjab Police bust terror module with Canada-Pakistan links
A Punjab police spokesman said, two terrorists related to the module were arrested near the Indo-Pak border when they were looking for the spot where the consignment of weapons reached from Pakistan was buried.
The forces also recovered a cache of arms and ammunition.
The spokesman said, preliminary interrogation reveals that the two arrested were following instructions of an Ontario-based Sikh hardliner who was in touch with them for the past two years, and had motivated them to commit terror strikes in Punjab.
One of the arrested confessed during the interrogation that he had made several visits to Pakistan and was in touch with some Khalistani activists there.
