PM Narendra Modi greets on Infantry Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended his greetings to the Indian military on the 70th Infantry Day.

“Greetings to all squaddies on Infantry Day. we are proud of our infantry`s first-rate courage and devoted service to our country,” the top Minister tweeted.

“I bow to all infantry martyrs, who dedicated their lives to the nation. Their heroic sacrifices may be remembered for generations to return,” he delivered.

October 27 is widely known as Infantry Day because it turned into on this day in 1947 that an Infantry company of the first Battalion of the Sikh Regiment changed into airlifted from Delhi to Srinagar to disencumber Kashmir from the invading tribals who have been supported by means of the Pakistani navy.
