PM Oli’s India visit strengthened bilateral ties
The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has said that Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli’s recent visit to India was highly successful in enhancing confidence and further strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
He said that both the Prime Ministers discussed all important bilateral issues with openness and transparency. Gyawali also said that such kind of dialogue with neighbors and development partners during initial days of the present government will help Nepal to move ahead on the path of stability, peace and development.
Gyawali was addressing a press conference in Kathmandu before his forthcoming 5 days China visit.
During the visit, Gyawali will hold bilateral talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi. He will also meet State Leader of China and address a round-table meeting of Chinese think-tanks.
Gyawali will visit Sichuan province and meet the provincial leaders. He will also address at a programme at the Sichuan University. This is the first high level visit from Nepal to its northern neighbor after the formation of K.P. Sharma Oli government in February this year.
