PM to embark on a 2-day State visit to Nepal tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a 2-day State visit to Nepal tomorrow. This will be his third visit to Nepal as Prime Minister.

In the first leg of his visit, the Prime Minister will arrive at Janakpur. He will visit historic Janaki temple and offer special prayer.

PM will leave for Kathmandu later, where he will be given ceremonial reception. Prime Minister will call on Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun and President Bidya Devi Bhandari in KAthmandu. PM Modi will hold delegation level talks with his Nepalese counter part. both the prime ministers will jointly lay foundation stone of Arun-III hydro power project through remote and make press statement.

On the second day of his visit, the Prime Minister will visit historic Muktinath temple and offer prayers. Leaders of various political parties will call on Prime Minister Modi in Kathmandu.

This is the first high-level visit from India since the formation of the new Government in Nepal
