10 Maoists killed in encounter with security forces in Bastar
In Chhattisgarh, 10 Maoists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Bijapur district in Bastar region on Thursday.
Director General of Police DM Awasthi said that a joint team of the Special Task Force (STF) and the District Reserve Guard (DRG) was on an anti-Naxal operation in Maad area after receiving an intelligence input about the presence of Maoists in that area.
